New Scanner App

The new home screen will allow you to add your profile immediately:

  • Email: Please use the email you linked the urvenue.me account.
  • Password: Please use the same password you created for the urvenue.me account.
  • Click on save. Located on the top right handside of your device.

You will the be taken to where your profile was added, proceed to choose the profile to gain access to the venue scanner.

You will be prompted to choose the venue you will be scanning for.

You will then be taken to the date selection, the app will show the present date, this was predetermined to avoid scanning tickets for a past date. It allows for future dates in order to make any tests.

You will then choose what room you will be using the scanner for, in the case you have multiple events the same day.

Here you see the camera interface with multiple options.

1. Sync: This option allows you to sync in real time, this in the case the person in line just bought their tickets moments before reaching the venue entrance (Note, this option requires Wi-Fi connection).

2. Flash Icon: This allows you to turn the Ipod, or Ipad flashlight in order to see tickets during the night (Note, this option requires the device to have a Flash or flashlight for the camera).

3. Mode: This in the case a ticket is accidentally scanned at the door, the mode will determine if the app is scanning a ticket or unscanning a ticket, the blue highlight is set on the function being used.

4. Pause (Resume): With this option you can pause the camera app to not scan anything for the moment. Also, whe you scan a ticket it is automatically paused to avoid scanning more than one ticket at a time, you will need press on "resume scan" after each ticket.

5. Manual: A manual scan would be in the case the customers ticket is too blurry and the QR code is unscannable, with this you can look up the customer name and compare the confirmation code on the ticket.

6. Walk-up: The walk up option is not be available for the moment, please expect an update soon.

7. Online: This indicates if the scanner is online connected to Wi-Fi.
